The Configuration Dialog
Locations Tab:

On the Locations Tab you can change the default directory to look for images. Orbit
also tells you the path to where it is keeping your Orbit related information such as configuration
and loop structure.
Images Tab:

On the Images Tab you can change the default images that will be displayed for the:
Background image when in non transparent mode
Background color when in non transparent mode
Loop background image, which is displayed behind the item's area
Item mark image which is displayed whenever a folder is opened.
More items up and down indicators
Tip: By using the "Use Windows wallpaper" link, you can make Orbit always use the same wallaper
as your Windows desktop.
Fonts Tab:

On the Fonts Tab you can change the default fonts, borders and colors with which are displayed both
Item Name (Label) and the Item's Description.
Appearance Tab:

On the Appearance Tab you can change the default appearance settings for Orbit. These features are:
Minified Icon Size
Magnified Icon Size
Icon opacity
Icon area background opacity
Animation speed
Mouse wheel sensitivity
Items shown per line
Most of these features are self-explanatory. But there are others which deserve some notes:
Show item labels: this makes Orbit show the item's names whenever you place your mouse
over an item.
Use transparent mode: this enables/disables transparent mode. This mode is very slow due to the fact
that Windows doesn't allow hardware acceleration to be used to draw on this mode. This is only supported
on Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows Server 2003
Use fake transparency: this makes Orbit, whenever popped up, take a screenshot of your desktop and use it
as background. This may take a while (usually 1-3 seconds). It will show the configured background while it takes
the screenshot.
Show image file's thumbnails: this enables Orbit to show a thumbnail of the image file instead of the
image icon whenever viewing a physical folder from whithin Orbit.
Behavior Tab:

On the Behavior Tab you can change the default behavior of Orbit. Here are they:
Transition effects: there are the animations that happen whenever opening a folder or clicking an item.
Always open folders in the same loop: this makes Orbit keep only one loop level on screen. This is faster for
transparent mode.
Open folders on mouse-over: this makes Orbit automatically open items which are folders whenever you place
your mouse over them.
